While not exactly critical, it is helpful to listen in order. Make sure you see all 6 books when you search for Clementine. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?įor reasons I do not understand, some of these books are listed as Sarah Pennypacker and others are Sara Pennypacker. This story is starting to be read too fast. It might be the production or it might be Jessica's voice has changed. This book narration is starting to sound different. Have you listened to any of Jessica Almasy’s other performances before? How does this one compare? In this book she worries about another child coming into the family. Maybe I will implement that in my household! Clementine is the funniest child. Everyone knows and the meeting is after dinner. I really like the idea of a Family Meeting sign that is posted on the refrigerator. ![]()

With Colonyside, Mammay rounds off his trilogy of Carl Butler investigations with another tale of government cover-ups, grizzled veterans, and boots-on-the-ground action. The sequel Spaceside similarly just popped up on shelves one day, and again it was a brilliant book. It was a great little military SF/crime hybrid that received very little buzz in the UK and slipped under the radar of every other blog I followed at the time. Īs I’ve said before, Michael Mammay’s debut novel Planetside was one of the two books (along with Christopher Ruocchio’s Empire of Silence) that made me take up blogging. This time, it might just be the last time. But then a CEO’s daughter goes missing, and Butler finds himself called on again to solve the mystery. – Hold up, this is a sequel!
